In the summer of 2010, my Mom and I spent a week in England. We toured Ripley's Believe It Or Not
in London where Mom and I made many photographs. Also in London, we toured the Tower Of London
and the HMS Belfast. The Belfast is a retired Royal Navy frigate that is moored on the Thames
and is open for touring.
South of London is the ancient stone ring of Stonehenge. We took the late afternoon special tour so that
we could walk up to the stones and actually touch them.
In contrast to the English climate, a visit to Myakka River State Park in eastern Sarasota County exhibits
sub-tropical flora at its finest.
